The Sea Beast is a Netflix and Sony Pictures animated film that recently went viral with positive reviews from the audience. Most of them say that this film is more suitable to be shown in theaters because the animation is stunning. The most famous of the group is the crew of "The Inevitable", led by the legendary Captain Crow, with his first mate Sarah Sharpe and his adopted son Jacob Holland. They have also been financially supported by the King and Queen of the Crown, who have formed a prominent community lineup dubbed the Three Bridges.
After being nearly killed while hunting, Crow tells Jacob that he will make him captain once they kill the female beast known as the Red Bluster that took her eye. On the other hand, the crew returns to Three Bridges to collect payment for their last catch, but the King and Queen then inform them that they will be replaced by a naval ship named "The Imperator".
This army is led by Admiral Hornagold, who will continue the hunt for sea monsters. Jacob proposes that his crew be given one more chance to kill the Red Bluster. Having managed to get it, they set out and discover the fact that an orphaned girl named Maisie Brumble has been kept on board to join them.
Maisie was inspired to do so from her late parents who died while hunting. The Inevitable then finds and attacks the Red Bluster. Against Crow's orders, Jacob hesitates to allow Maisie to cut the ropes connecting the ship to the Bluster, which could save the crew. Instead, they let the monster escape.
Crow was angry and pointed at both of them with a gun. He demands that Jacob bring Maisie to him before the Bluster emerges from the depths and eats them alive.
