Former MONSTA X member Wonho is now debuting as a soloist. Wonho's solo debut was inaugurated with the release of the song and MV entitled Open Mind. Wonho 's Music Video and song Open Mind was released on Friday September, 4, 2020. Along with the first part of the mini album titled Love Synonym #1 Right For Me.

The release of Wonho's first solo album, of course, was greeted with joy by fans. There was an uproar on Twitter social media with hundreds of thousands of tweets of Wonho's name along with hashtags such as #OPEN_MIND and #Love_Synonym representing the title of Wonho's latest song and album. The owner's real name Lee Ho Seok looks manly and sexy in the Open Mind MV.

Not only showing an excellent and distinctive vocal performance, which fans have missed during his hiatus a few months ago, Wonho also presents a choreography that will make fangirls fall in love even more. The song Open Mind opens with a bass sound which is immediately greeted by Wonho's husky voice.

Accompanied by several background dancers, Wonho performed a song with retro music but with a thick electronic bandage. Love Synonym #1 Right For Me album was released simultaneously on various streaming platforms internationally.  You can listen to this song on Spotify as well as Apple Music. In the first part of Wonho's mini album, five songs and one track are presented, entitled Interlude: Runway.

The other four songs are Open Mind as the main track, I just, Lost In Paradise, Losing You (Korean Version), and WITH YOU. In addition there are two additional songs from the existing songs but in different versions. Wonho includes Open Mind and Losing You in English versions in this album. Wonho will start promoting his new album and song on TV music shows.

This Love Synonym #1 Right For Me album is also a new point in Wonho's career after he is no longer an official part of MONSTA X. Wonho debuted in 2015 under the management of Starship Entertainment with MONSTA X. Now as a soloist he is a member of the management of Highline Entertainment (which is also still under the Starship company).

Wonho will not only focus on his career in South Korea but also plans to target the United States market. The singer who was born on March 1, 1993, chose to leave the MONSTA X group because of a drug case that dragged his name. However, it was later proven that Wonho was not involved in the drug case.
