Wonho finally released his second mini album entitled Blue Letter. He also released the music video for the title track, BLUE. Wonho was directly involved in making the song. He is credited as composer and co-writer with ENAN (SAVAGE HOUSE GANG), Sun Ahn, and Brother Su.
Meanwhile, through his MV, Wonho gave a fresh impression as a solo musician. As the title suggests, the clothes to the background used are identical to the blue color. Wonho transforms into a rugby player in the MV. Wonho also exclusively gave messages to fans in Indonesia. He also explained a little about the songs he released.
"The BLUE song from my second mini album Blue Letter is a song that contains an interesting combination of guitar, bass, and drums," explained Wonho . "BLUE song is a pop dance song that can be enjoyed by many people," he continued. At the end of the video, Wonho also prays for the health of fans in Indonesia.
He said it in Indonesian, lo! Wonho debuted in 2015 under the management of Starship Entertainment with MONSTA X. Now as a soloist he is a member of the management of Highline Entertainment (which is also still under the Starship company). He debuted as a solo singer with the release of an EP titled Love Synonym Pt.1: Right for Me.
In February 2021, Wonho re-released an EP which was a continuation of the first EP. Titled Love Synonym Pt.2: Right for Us, the release also received a good response from the public. Wonho will not only focus on his career in South Korea but also plans to target the United States market. Wonho's return certainly gets a very good response from fans who have been waiting for his solo comeback for a long time.
