In less than a week since its first release, the South Korean film Confidential Assignment 2 : International successfully penetrated 3 million viewers in Korea . Reporting from Soompi, this film is known to have managed to get 3 million at the Korean box office today, Monday September 12, 2022 at around 12:50 KST or 10:50 WIB. 

This achievement was obtained exactly on the sixth day since its premiere on Wednesday September 7, 2022.  The day before, Confidential Assignment 2: International also just surpassed 2 million moviegoers. This is the fastest gain when compared to the previous Confidential Assignment films as well as other hits this summer, 

such as Top Gun: Maverick which surpassed 3 million viewers in 12 days and Hansan: Rising Dragon which achieved the same feat on the eighth day. Confidential Assignment 2: International is a sequel to the 2017 film Confidential Assignment . This film follows the continuation of the story between a North Korean detective named Im Chul Ryung and a South Korean detective named Kang Jin Tae who previously worked together to catch a criminal in the predecessor film.

In this new sequel, the two get back together to hunt down the leader of a North Korean criminal organization that has wreaked havoc around the world. In their action, they also work with Kang Jin Tae's brother-in-law and an FBI agent from the United States. The film stars Hyun Bin, Yoo Hae Jin, Girls' Generation's Yoona, Daniel Henney, and Jin Seon Kyu. 

Hyun Bin himself plays Im Chul Ryung, North Korean detective Im Chul Ryung. Meanwhile, Yoo Hae Jin plays the South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae. While Yoona Girls' Generation plays the role of Kang Jin Tae's brother-in-law named Park Min Young. 

Daniel Henney plays the character of Jack, an FBI agent. Then Jin Seon Kyu plays the leader of a North Korean criminal organization named Jang Myung Jun. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of Confidential Assignment 2: International on reaching 3 million views in less than a week!
