He was an invited guest at the world's highest film industry award event held at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, United States.
Along with BLACKPINK's Lisa, Rowoon officially became the first KPop idol to be invited to attend the 2025 Oscars on Sunday March 2, 2025 local time. A few days earlier, the star of the Korean drama The King's Affection had shared a spoiler via an Instagram Story upload.
For his first appearance at the 2025 Oscars, Rowoon wore a black tuxedo suit with beaded details from the Amiri Spring-Summer 2025 collection. He is believed to have received a special invitation to the 2025 Oscars as a representative of the fashion house.
Because Rowoon's appearance was shared on Amiri's Instagram account with Hollywood actors Nic Kaufmann and Benji Krol, who also wore his suits that night. Meanwhile, fellow idol-actress, BLACKPINK's Lisa looked stunning in a black suit dress to pay homage to the James Bond films.
Rowoon's style is complemented by a luxurious brooch from jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. As reported by the official Twitter account @tiffanyandco, the 'Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Apollo Brooch' collection worn by Rowoon is made of 18-karat gold with platinum and diamonds of more than 6 carats.
The design is inspired by the beauty of the Greek Sun God, featuring golden rays that curve from the outer edge to the center.
