MONSTA X's Hyungwon Will Comeback Acting Through Korean Drama 'President Idol Mart'

Good news from Hyungwon MONSTA X who will make an acting comeback through the drama ' President Idol Mart '. The multitalented artist is rumored to be the main actor in this drama project. South Korean media Star News on Wednesday September 14, 2022 reported that MONSTA X member Hyungwon will join the drama project 'President Idol Mart'. 

Hyungwon is rumored to be the male lead with Xiumin EXO who also made a comeback for 7 years. 'President Idol Mart' or ' Sajangdol Mart ' is a drama that tells about the lives of former idol group members who run a mini market. The drama 'President Idol Mart' will be produced by The Great Show. 

Besides being active as a member of MONSTA X, Hyungwon has also participated in several drama projects. Hyungwon has made his acting debut since 2015 through the web drama 'High-end Crush'. This drama project will be Hyungwon's first drama in 2022. Previously, Hyungwon participated in the web drama 'Fly, Again' which was released on November 13, 2021.

Hyungwon had the opportunity to be the main character in the drama themed about the idol. Hyungwon plays Han Yo Han, an 18-year-old student who dreams of becoming an idol. Through the drama, Hyungwon collided with Kim Myung Ji, Park Eun Hye, and Tony Ahn. Several other dramas also starring Hyungwon, namely 'Followers' (2020), 'Bad Papa' (2018) and 'Please Find Her' (2017). 

Hyungwon has also been nominated in the 'Popularity Award' category at the 2022 Blue Dragon Series Awards. Recently, Hyungwon successfully received attention through his appearance on the program 'My Alcohol Diary'. 'My Alcohol Diary' is a talk show with rapper Lee Young Ji as the host.

Not only casual conversation, but they will also drink alcohol in between conversations. One month since its release, episode 7 of 'My Alcohol Diary' has been viewed 8.6 million times. Meanwhile, Hyungwon's activities with his group MONSTA X have just finished the 2022 MONSTA X 'NO LIMIT' TOUR in Seoul. MONSTA X successfully greeted fans in Seoul for 3 consecutive days from September 2-4, 2022.
