Therefore, recently the ticket sales for the BLACKPINK concert which will be held on March 18, 2023 in Kaohsiung have run out in a very short time. However, instead of happily welcoming the successful ticket sales, the promoter of 'BORN PINK WORLD TOUR' in Kaohsiung, Live Nation Taiwan, brought quite a shocking news.
The reason is, they announced that four tickets for BLACKPINK's concert in Kaohsiung were cancelled. Launching koreaboo, the decision to cancel tickets was announced shortly after reports of the 'BORN PINK WORLD TOUR' ticket prices at Kaohsiung National Stadium being resold at a price of forty-five times more than the original price.
Officially, tickets for the BLACKPINK concert in Kaohsiung are selling for NT$8,800 but some individuals are known to resell the tickets at a very fantastic price on the marketplace, which is around NT$400,000. After learning about the very high ticket prices, Live Nation Taiwan announced that they would cancel the tickets. However, the four tickets will soon be prepared to be officially re-sold in the near future.
Live Nation Taiwan also warned touts that they would continue to cancel tickets sold at unreasonably high prices to protect consumers. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK itself just finished their concert at the United Center, Chicago on November 10 and 11.
