Boyband D-CRUNCH has officially disbanded. This was conveyed directly by Ai Grand Korea as management. D-CRUNCH's disbandment was conveyed through a statement released through the official fan cafe. The decision was made after undergoing discussions with all members of D-CRUNCH.
Ai Grand Korea also apologized to fans who have been supporting D-CRUNCH. The management also expressed their gratitude to the nine members who have been fighting together since 2018. "After undergoing discussions with D-CRUNCH, we decided to disband the group. We apologize to fans for causing concern due to this sudden news," said Ai Grand Korea.
"We sincerely thank all the D-CRUNCH members who have been with Ai Grand Korea for a long time," he continued. Ai Grand Korea also thanked DIANA, which is the name of D-CRUNCH's fans, for the support given to every member of the group. With the disbandment of D-CRUNCH, the management decided to close all social media and also the D-CRUNCH fan cafe.
"We want to thank DIANA and all the fans who have loved D-CRUNCH all this time. We also hope that fans will continue to give love and support to the members who are about to start a new life," added Ai Grand Korea. "D-CRUNCH's official fan cafe and social media will be closed in November 2022.
We hope fans can understand this decision. Thank you," he concluded. D-CRUNCH debuted as a 9-member group way back in 2018. They debuted with the release of their first single album, Palace. But during the pandemic, one by one the D-CRUNCH members decided to leave the group.
In 2020, Hyunwoo was the first member to decide not to continue his career with D-CRUNCH. In 2021, member Minhyuk also decided to leave D-CRUNCH. Followed by Dylan who left the group in October 2022. D-CRUNCH last released a comeback as a group in March 2022. At that time they released their second single album titled Addiction.
