BLACKPINK 's contract with YG Entertainment ends in August 2023. Talks about continuing the contracts of the four members are currently being negotiated. NH Investment & Securities recently predicted that all BLACKPINK members will renew their contracts with YG Entertainment.

This is based on analyst reports taken from various aspects. However, as reported by Munhwa Ilbo, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose were targeted by various agencies. They even get big contract offers. According to one source, Lisa received an offer of 100 billion Won or Rp. 1.2 trillion to move from YG Entertainment. Thus, a higher bid is needed if management is to maintain it.

The same source said YG Entertainment made at least an offer of 20 billion Won for each member, or Rp. 244 billion. Some even believe YG Entertainment debuted Baby Monster to reduce the potential failure of closing a contract renewal deal with BLACKPINK. Regarding this news, YG Entertainment still chooses to remain silent. Previously, rumors circulated that BLACKPINK would move to The Black Label.

Quoted from the Kpop Herald, discussions regarding the transfer of the four members have been carried out since the beginning of the year. "I am not in a position to confirm this news, but YG Entertainment's contract with BLACKPINK members still remains," said a source from YG Entertainment regarding the outstanding issues.

"It is difficult to confirm whether they will sign a contract with The Black Label after the contract with YG Entertainment is completed or not," he concluded. BLACKPINK debuted under YG Entertainment in 2016. During their six-year career, they have only released 2 full albums.
