In the midst of the busy solo activities of each BTS member, they will also be enlisting in the military when the time comes. Jin BTS has officially departed today, Tuesday December 13, 2022 as the first BTS member to leave for the army. If departing based on age, Suga, who is the second oldest member, will follow Jin to undergo military service.

Born in 1993, the owner of the real name Min Yoongi is required to at least undergo military service next year. Reported by a number of South Korean media, Suga is said to be undergoing military service in public service. This is different from Jin who is undergoing military service as an active soldier.

It is known that Suga underwent left shoulder surgery in 2020. This prevented the rapper from enlisting as an active soldier. Regarding this news, BIGHIT Music also opened their voices. They refused to provide details about the BTS members' military enlistment plans and asked the public to wait until the time came.

"All BTS members plan to undergo military service according to their respective plans," said BIGHIT Music. "Currently, we cannot confirm personal information related to BTS members," he concluded. Meanwhile, Jin BTS underwent military service accompanied by the other six members. They uploaded a photo together when they escorted Jin to the training center.

"Our hyung (older brother in Korean)! Go and come back in good health! We love you!" BTS wrote in the photo caption. Jin's departure for military service was accompanied by heavy security. Around 300 military personnel, police, ambulances and firefighters were deployed. Jin is known to be enlisted as an active soldier for 18 months.
