Shocking news was delivered by D1CE Entertainment as the management of the boy band D1CE. They announced the disbandment of the five-member group. This news was officially conveyed through a statement released on the fan cafe and Instagram account. D1CE disbanded after concluding an exclusive contract with management.
"First of all, we want to sincerely thank the fans who have supported D1CE all this time," management opened. "We would like to announce that the exclusive contract between D1CE Entertainment and D1CE members, Woo Jin Young, Park Woo Dam, Kim Hyun Soo, Jung Yoo Jun, and Jo Yong Geun has ended on January 20, 2023," he explained.
The management also admitted that they had held discussions with the five members. They agreed not to renew their contract with D1CE Entertainment and went their separate ways. "After a long time, we discussed with the members to respect the opinions of Woo Jin Young, Park Woo Dam, Kim Hyun Soo, Jung Yoo Jun, and Jo Yong Geun who wanted to pursue new dreams.
So we agreed to terminate the exclusive contract," said management. "We want to thank D1CE as well as having been with D1CE Entertainment since August 1, 2019 until now. We will sincerely continue to support the activities of Woo Jin Young, Park Woo Dam, Kim Hyun Soo, Jung Yoo Jun, and Jo Yong Geun." he continued.
At the end of the statement, D1CE Entertainment thanked the fans who have provided support to D1CE. They hope that fans will continue to support the members who are about to embark on their individual journeys. The five members of D1CE are audition program contestants.
Jung Yoo Jun is known to have competed in Boys24 in 2016. Park Woo Dam, Woo Jin Young, and Jo Yong Geun participated in the Produce 101 Season 2 and MIXNINE events. Ahead of deut, Woo Jin Young also competed on Show Me the Money 8.
