BTS's Jimin some time ago revealed his plans to release a solo album in March 2023. Finally, the exact date of the album's release was revealed. On February 22, 2023 at midnight, BIGHIT Music officially announced that Jimin would be going solo with the release of the album FACE. ARMY can start listening to the album on May 24, 2023.
In the official statement released, FACE is the story of Jimin's journey to face himself before embarking on a new chapter in his career as a musician. "BTS member, Jimin, will release a solo album titled FACE," opened BIGHIT Music. "FACE is an album that tells about how Jimin faced himself while preparing to step into the next chapter as a solo artist," he continued.
BIGHIT Music also promised that during the promotion period, Jimin would meet fans more often through various activities. Management also hopes that ARMY will support Jimin's solo debut. "Jimin will meet fans through various activities, including the release of FACE," said BIGHIT Music. "So, we ask fans to continue to support Jimin's first solo activities," he concluded.
BIGHIT Music announced that orders for the album FACE have opened starting today, Wednesday February 22, 2023 at various South Korean music stores and sites. While the album release can be expected on March 24, 2023. Along with the announcement, BIGHIT Music also revealed the first teaser for the FACE album. In the 35-second video, several water droplets appear before the word FACE appears in the middle of the video.
