Cha Jun Hwan is taking the next step in his career—this time beyond the ice. On Friday April 3, 2026, Fantagio announced that it has signed an exclusive contract with the Olympic figure skater.
“We’re truly excited to begin this new chapter with Cha Jun Hwan, who has proven his potential and talent as an entertainer through countless experiences,” the agency shared. “We will fully support him so he can showcase his wide range of charms.”
Cha Jun Hwan first gained attention after winning bronze at the 2010 National Winter Sports Festival and has since built an impressive global résumé, competing in events such as the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, the 2022 ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, and the 2025 Harbin Winter Asian Games.
His standout performances have earned him nicknames like “Asia’s Prince” and “the Prince of Figure Skating.” Known for his expressive artistry and commanding stage presence, Cha Jun Hwan has drawn praise not only in Korea but also from international media.
At the 2025 Harbin Winter Asian Games, his emotional performance captivated audiences and ultimately earned him a gold medal. With a strong foundation as a world-class athlete, Cha Jun Hwan is now set to expand his career into entertainment under Fantagio.
Prior to his skating fame, he appeared as a child actor in projects like MBC Bestseller Theater and The Return of Iljimae, and has since appeared in various variety shows including You Quiz on the Block, Running Man, Knowing Bros, and Radio Star, as well as through photoshoots.
