The Korean drama ' Stranger Again ' just finished its last episode last night February 23, 2023. Raising the story of the love story of two people who decided to get back in touch after a divorce. They are stuck working together at a law firm that specializes in divorce cases. Oh Ha-Ra (Kang So-Ra) initially disapproved of her ex-husband working at the same law firm as her.
But Goo Eun-Beom (Jang Seung-Jo) insisted on begging because he became poor after having to pay alimony fees to Ha-Ra in the amount of 3 million won per month. Once they get used to working together, they get used to other things. It's not that their love has grown back, but their feelings from before have never gone away.
Even though Goo Eun-Beom never introduced someone to Ha-Ra. But their relationship did not work out. Indeed, raising stories about divorce is like opening someone's old wounds. The audience is invited to understand the main characters and find out the reasons for their separation.
Of course, get ready to get teary-eyed, spectators! Because you will be faced with scenes that treat each other. Or about their happiness not believing that they are back together. If Korean drama fans remember several drama titles with the theme of returning after divorce, of course they have high hopes for the drama 'Strangers Again'.
Like the drama 'Single Cunning Lady', 'Emergency Couple', and 'Goback Couple' have a happy ending together. The audience is invited to process through their problems, the reasons for their divorce, until they finally become a couple again. Through the drama 'Stranger Again', the audience unfortunately did not find that.
Some people assume that the drama ends as per the title to become a stranger again. However this is more like being given false hope. The romance of their love story in the middle is really sweet and creates the thought that in fact they love each other and can't see the other. Seeing them together even if only in a few episodes is really fun.
After being lulled into their romance, the audience is reminded at the end that the title of this drama is about being strangers again. But in the end, the audience is again faced with a problem that never got an answer from the start. For the first time, a post-divorce relationship drama doesn't end with getting back together.
