Launching allkpop, on Friday, March 17, 2023 at midnight local time, Starship Entertainment took to social media to announce that IVE would be making a comeback with their first full album titled "I've IVE." According to the same announcement, IVE will be releasing their album on April 10 at 6 p.m. KST.
The day before, Star News had already reported that IVE would be releasing their first full album in April. To welcome the release of the album, IVE will hold a press conference to discuss the album two hours before its release, at 4 PM KST to be precise. Reportedly, IVE finished shooting the MV for their title track last week and plans to finish recording all the songs for the album in the near future.
Even so, IVE's schedule ahead of their comeback next month is known to be very busy. Ahn Yujin will be filming for tvN's variety show "Earth Arcade" for nearly a week. In addition, IVE is also scheduled to appear on the "Music Bank in Paris " event right the day before the album's release.
That way, they are known to be traveling back and forth Seoul - Paris in just 2 days. On April 8, IVE will fly to Paris and on April 9, they will perform at "Music Bank in Paris." After that, they plan to arrive at Incheon International Airport on the morning of April 10 and head straight to the press conference venue in Yeouido, Seoul.
Meanwhile, this latest album release will mark IVE's first comeback since they released their third single album, "After Like," in August last year. IVE itself is known to have debuted in December 2021 with their single album, "ELEVEN." Without waiting long, the debut single immediately brought IVE to fame. The song from IVE's second single album, "LOVE DIVE," also became an addictive song and made IVE even more popular.
Due to such popularity, they are considered as one of the top fourth generation K-Pop girl groups. IVE even won a series of awards including "Rookie of The Year" from the 2022 Golden Disc Awards. Each of the main songs from the single albums they have released were also nominated as the best song of the year, but "LOVE DIVE" is the song that won the most awards.
