The main cast of the hit South Korean drama series Strong Woman Do Bong Soon will be reuniting for a spin off show. Taking the title Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon , this spin off drama itself is a sequel to Strong Woman Do Bong Soon which premiered in 2017.
Launching from Soompi on Thursday March 30, 2023, a source from the Korean drama Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon confirmed regarding the cast of the previous drama who was involved. “ Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik received offers to make special appearances, and they have completed filming.”
The spin off drama series Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will tell the story of Do Bong Soon's distant cousin, Kang Nam Soon. Kang Nam Soon (Lee Yoo Mi) has super strength and lost her when she was a child in Mongolia. Now that he is an adult, he comes to Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea to find his parents and finally meets his mother, Hwang Geum Joo (Kim Jung Eun).
His mother is a rich woman in Gangnam. After losing his daughter, Hwang Geum Joo searched while living a righteous life and was obsessed with doing good deeds. Gil Joong Gan (Kim Hae Sook) is Hwang Geum Joo's mother and Kang Nam Soon's grandmother.
His grandmother and mother were also born with superhuman strength like Kang Nam Soon. Somehow, the three of them get involved in a drug case that happened in Gangnam. Detective Kang Hee Sik (Ong Seong Wu) starts working with the three super-powered women in the drug case.
Apparently, Kang Nam Soon started to feel attracted to Detective Kang Hee Sik.
