South Korean girl group IVE again won their sixth win for their new song "I AM" on the weekly music show. Quoting from Allkpop, this time they won the victory at the Inkigayo program which was broadcast on Sunday 23 April 2023. Inkigayo itself is a weekly music program from South Korea which is broadcast by SBS and airs every Sunday at 15.50 KST.
In this latest episode, there are three nominees competing for first place. The candidates include IVE's two new songs titled "Kistch" and "I AM," as well as BLACKPINK's Jisoo with her solo song entitled "FLOWER". At the end, IVE's latest song "I AM" is known to have succeeded in coming out as the winner defeating two other candidates by obtaining a score of 10,586 points.
The song "I AM" received 1,000 points for album sales. For SNS, they won 3,000 points. Furthermore, BLACKPINK got 900 points for the on-air score. Meanwhile digital single sales earned 5,092 points. Then, for pre-voting and live-voting, a total of 594 points were obtained. This is the sixth win for the song and the 45th win for IVE on the weekly music show since their debut in late 2021.
Next, there is the pre-realized song "Kistch" which also belongs to IVE which followed in second place with a total score of 7,159 points. The score includes 1,000 points for album sales, 455 points for SNS, 150 points for on-air scores, 5,488 points for digital single sales, and 66 points for pre-voting and live-voting.
Then, following in third place was BLACKPINK's Jisoo with his solo song "FLOWER" which earned a score of 7,048 points. The score includes 61 points for album sales, 1,805 points for SNS, 350 points for on-air scores, 4,463 points for digital single sales, and 369 points for pre-voting and live-voting.
Meanwhile, today's latest Inkigayo broadcast was also enlivened with various cool performances from artists, such as, GIUK (ONEWE), DRIPPIN, DREAMNOTE, PARK JIHOON, PARK HYEONSEO, IVE, ALICE, YEAHSHINE, YEEUN, LEE GIKWANG, LEE CHAEYEON, CSR, KEP1ER, TEMPEST, and also HWANG WOOLIM. Lastly, congrats once again to IVE who once again managed to bring home a trophy and successfully won their sixth win for their newest song "I AM" on this week's Inkigayo event!
