Kim Seon Ho returned to the Korean entertainment industry by starring in his first film The Childe. The Korean drama player Hometown Cha Cha Cha officially made his big screen debut. Previously, Kim Seon Ho had disappeared because he drew criticism from Korean netizens. The actor is accused of forcing his ex-girlfriend Choi Young Ah to have an abortion in October 2021.
In the midst of his vacuum period, Kim Seon Ho left for Thailand to start shooting the film Sad Tropics which is now entitled The Childe. The Childe movie will show Kim Seon Ho's dark side as a criminal. Synopsis The Childe follows the thrilling chase that ensues when Childe (played by Kim Seon Ho) embarks on a mission to chase after Marco (played by Kang Tae Joo), a boxer who wanders into the illegal territory of the Philippines. The Childe is directed by Park Hoon Jung who is behind the successful film Night in Paradise.
Today, Tuesday April 18, 2023, The Childe production team released an official poster featuring the silhouette of the main player Kim Seon Ho. In the poster for The Childe, Kim Seon Ho is seen whistling casually while watching his target. The actor appeared like a gangster wearing a suit with his hair styled to reveal his forehead.
His character Childe is a mysterious kidnapper who appears before Marco. He struggles to make money by any means necessary. After cornering his target, Childe destroys the boxer's life. Along with the release of the poster, the film The Childe was announced to be broadcast in June. Apart from Kim Seon Ho and newcomer actor Kang Tae Joo, the film The Childe also stars Kim Kang Woo (Artificial City) and Go Ara (Reply 1994).
