ASTRO's Moonbin breathed his last on April 19, 2023. The funeral was held privately according to the family's request. Until now, the grief is still felt by Moonbin's family and fans. As a final tribute, the fans or commonly called AROHA, flooded the ASTRO agency building, Fantagio, with flowers and gifts filled with the deceased's favorite things.
Fantagio specifically opened a memorial space for fans who want to pay their last respects. The location is in the Fantagio office area which will be opened and can be visited freely by Aroha until April 30, 2023. "To provide a comfortable space for fans who have come from afar, we are preparing an additional memorial space that Aroha can visit at the Fantagio office," said management based on a statement released recently.
"The memorial space can be visited until April 30. Aroha is welcome to use the room," he continued. All letters, flowers, and gifts left by Aroha at that location will be properly preserved by Fantagio. Management promised to keep the fans' mementos intact. "All letters and gifts left in the memorial space in front of the Fantagio office will be stored with care.
Writings on paper and letters will be collected and stored periodically during the mourning period so that they can be kept intact without any damage," added Fantagio. "When you arrive at the Fantagio office, there will be staff and signs guiding fans to certain locations.

"On April 19th, ASTRO member Moonbin left us suddenly and became a star in the sky. Although we cannot compare to the grief felt by a bereaved family, having lost a beloved son and brother, ASTRO members are also fellow Fantagio artists and the company saddened by Moonbin's passing," Fantagio said.
"It is even more heartbreaking for us to deliver this news suddenly to the fans who have supported Moonbin and give their love. We are saddened because we know how the deceased felt, who always loved and thought of his fans more than anyone."
