Lee Chaeyeon Reveals Shocking Facts, Saying that She Comes from a Rich Family

Solo singer and former member of the girl group IZ*ONE, Lee Chaeyeon, recently revealed a surprising fact about her family background. Lee Chaeyeon is often mentioned as one of the K-Pop idols who was born with a golden spoon or comes from a wealthy family. However, recently Lee Chaeyeon appeared as a guest star on Tak Hae Joon 's YouTube channel . 

On this occasion, Lee Chaeyeon revealed the true facts about her family's condition. Quoting from Koreaboo on Saturday April 14, 2023, the host showed a photo of Lee Chaeyeon in a video vlog when she showed off her family's house that looked luxurious when she was still promoting as an IZ * ONE member.

Not only that, the host also showed a pre-debut photo of ITZY's Chaeryeong, who is Lee Chaeyeon's younger sister, wearing a bag from a luxury brand. Responding to the photo, Lee Chaeyeon admitted that her house did look luxurious from the marble floors they used, but she admitted that the price of her house was not as expensive as people thought.  

"About my house, it's because the floor is made of marble, so it looks expensive. However, the actual price of the house is not expensive. My father only works in a company. I wasn't born with a golden spoon," Lee Chaeyeon explained. The house that Lee Chaeyeon showed in her vlog was indeed her family's house, but the idol emphasized that she did not come from a wealthy family. 

ITZY's Chaeryeong biological sister even revealed a surprising fact why she didn't deny the rumors, about her coming from a wealthy family so far. "I don't need to explain the rumors, because my mother told me to dress like a rich person. I think my mom has brainwashed me. He told me not to appear careless, and to always look like rich people even though we're not," said Lee Chaeyeon. 

Although Lee Chaeyeon explained this in a joking tone, it seems that her family is indeed a wealthy family. They may not be a very wealthy family, but being able to support two daughters to realize their dream of becoming idols certainly shows that they have good financial resources.
