A female medic from the 28th division of the Korean military is facing disciplinary action after trying to approach BTS' Jin on the pretext of getting a vaccination. Reporting from KBIZoom May 19, 2023, Lieutenant A who is a female medic from the 28th division drove her car from Unit C which is located in city B of Gyeonggi province for 30 minutes to visit the beginner training center of the 5th Division, which is where BTS' Jin is assigned .

Lieutenant A then tries to get close to Jin by leveraging his connections with Lieutenant D from the nursing unit. On that day, at approximately 13:30 to 15:30 local time, Lieutenant A began administering the second dose of dengue fever vaccine in the medical room of the 5th Division rookie training center.

When Lieutenant A returned to his unit, he informed his colleagues that Jin appeared to be very ill. It is known that Lieutenant A did not report to his superiors and simply ran away from his workplace. According to article 79 of the Military Criminal Code, this action is punishable by imprisonment or a suspended sentence of under one year.

Not only that, Lieutenant A was also suspected of bringing Tylenol in large numbers to the 5th Division rookie training center. According to the informant, they overheard Lieutenant A talking on the phone with Lieutenant D. Upon hearing that the 5th Division was short on several types of medication, he promised to provide them with large amounts of Tylenol (a painkiller and fever reducer) from the 28th Division.

"This person (Lieutenant A) pretended to report to the personnel manager that he was going to the 5th Division but didn't actually ask for permission. His mind was filled with greed for personal gain, making him unable to think straight anymore," the informant revealed. He added, "Division 5 even imposes punishment if anyone asks for Jin's autograph.

His actions of being absent from this workplace should be severely punished." If Lieutenant A's actions prove to be right, his entire unit will have to face harsh criticism. However, until now, the military has not taken any action against Lieutenant A. There was a negative view that raised suspicions that the military was deliberately closing this case.

Lieutenant Colonel Seo Jung Hoon, Chief of Staff of the 28th Division, said, "We have confirmed several allegations through the investigation, there is no possibility for us to cover up this matter. We are currently carrying out an investigation at the Ministry of Justice (after the military investigation) and will apply disciplinary measures based on law ."
