Good news for MY or aespa fans because currently each aespa member has an official Instagram account. On Monday, May 22, 2023, Karina, Giselle, Winter, and NingNing opened their Instagram account and uploaded a mirror selfie of the four of them as their first upload.
In the selfie photos uploaded by each of these members, they are compact wearing all-black outfits, but posing in a different style in each photo. The aespa members take turns taking a position in the middle and holding the cell phone. Winter and Giselle uploaded a colored version of the selfie photo, while Karina and NingNing put a black and white filter on their upload.
Each aespa member's Instagram account username is @_ri__na____ (Karina), @aerichandesu (Giselle), @lm__winter (Winter), and @imnotningning (NingNing). Having just opened an account, aespa members are not yet following anyone other than their own members. However, only Giselle and NingNing follow their group's official Instagram account, @aespa_official.
Previously, aespa had indeed expressed their anxiety to the public regarding their agency's regulations, namely SM Entertainment, one of which was not allowing them to have personal Instagram accounts. Aespa said this when he guest starred on the YouTube program "Idol Complaint Manager HUR" on May 10, 2023.
Initially Winter expressed his anxiety through writing on paper, which was then approved by other aespa members. However, now aespa's desire to have a personal Instagram account has finally come true. Not long ago, aespa made a comeback with an album titled MY WORLD on May 8, 2023.
They are currently busy promoting their songs "Spicy", "Thirsty", and "Salty and Sweet". The MY WORLD album itself has sold quite a fantastic amount, which is more than 2 million copies, which marks aespa's personal record since their debut.
In addition, aespa is also preparing for their world concert tour entitled "aespa LIVE TOUR 2023 SYNK: HYPER LINE" which will begin in August. In the series of concert tours, aespa will perform in several countries such as the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Germany, England, and France.
