Brave Girls previously caught the public's attention with their viral single titled Rollin'. This year Brave Girls signed a contract with a new management. They also use new names. Brave Girls started their career with five members on April 8, 2011. Under Brave Entertainment, they released a single album titled The Difference.
It didn't last long, a few months later they re-released their first mini album titled Back To Da Future on July 29, 2011. Several years after their debut, Brave Girls underwent a member change. Three of the original members left, but the group also has five new members. Additional members include Minyoung, Yoojung, Eunji, Yuna, and Hayun.
They then continued promoting as a seven-member group. On February 16, 2016, they released a digital single titled Depeened. In early 2017, Yujin decided to leave Brave Girls. Besides that, Hyeran and Yujeong were reportedly on hiatus due to health problems. After his condition improved, Yujeong along with Eunji and Yuna joined the survival program The Unit.
In 2018, they re-released a new version of their digital single titled Rollin'. After two years of not having any promotional activities, they finally made a comeback by releasing the single We Ride on August 14 2020. One year after their song Rollin' went viral. Brave Girls unexpectedly gained popularity.
They also returned to music shows to promote the song again. Until now, Brave Girls has experienced several member changes. The group left four people including Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna. In the current line-up there are absolutely no original members who have survived since their debut.
They finally returned to continue promoting as a group and even appeared with a complete formation on Queendom 2 survival. On February 16, 2023, Brave Girls officially ended their activities with the management Brave Entertainment. As a farewell they also released a single called Goodbye for their fans.
Even so, Minyoung said they had not disbanded and would get back together again in the future. Several months later, Warner Music Korea announced that all four members had signed exclusive contracts. They will continue promotions with the group name change to BB Girls on May 3, 2023. Minyoung also revealed that BB Girls is preparing to make a comeback in the summer.
