The man born in Busan, who is now 27 years old, is rumored to be launching a new song in collaboration with several American singers for the soundtrack of the action film , Fast X. Titled "Angel Pt. 1", Jimin will voice alongside Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, JVKE, and Muni Long.
This exciting information was also officially announced by Bighit as the agency that oversees BTS via their official Twitter @bts_bighit on May 9 at 7 KST. "Angel Pt.1 by Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, Jimin of BTS, JVKE, & Muni Long 2023.05.18" wrote Bighit in their latest tweet on Twitter.
Apart from that, Fast & Furious 10 also released a 25-second YouTube video clip featuring Jimin and other singers. In response to this good news, ARMY then called for their enthusiasm by enlivening the hashtags #Angel_Pt1 #FastX #Jimin #Jiminiscoming which immediately occupied trending topics on Twitter after the news from Jimin was successfully published.
Fast X is a continuation of the Fast & Furious action film series which will be released on May 19, 2023. The Fast & Furious 10 film will focus on the story of Dominic Toretto who is trying to save his team from drug crimes while avenging his father's death. Meanwhile, the opportunity to fill in for the soundtrack this time was in fact not the first for Jimin.
