SM Entertainment's senior boy group SHINee will hold a fan meeting on May 27, 2023. The fan meeting titled 'Everyday is SHINee Day: [Piece of SHINE]' will be held at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) 7HALL located in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Recently, the seating plan for the fan meeting event was released and made fans feel disappointed.

This disappointment was expressed by Shawol (a SHINee fan) on social media. They also demanded repairs from the company managing the event. According to  the  seating plan and pictures taken during previous events, the venue will not have raised seats, making it nearly impossible for fans seated at the back to get a good view of the stage.

All fans certainly feel very disappointed and deceived because of that. They want facilities that support them to be able to see clearly the stage view during the fan meeting event later. Moreover, this event is the most anticipated event because it is one of the first opportunities to meet SHINee after Taemin (a member of SHINee) has completed his military service.

The anger and disappointment of SHINee fans has been widely expressed through social media Twitter. Many consider it disrespectful to the fandom that has supported SHINee for nearly 15 years. Others also said the venue was a disappointing choice as it hurt SHINee's immense popularity.

The view from the back seats is so bad that fans even joked those sitting there would have been better off watching the concert at Beyond Live (online). So far SM Entertainment has not responded to fans' complaints about the venue, but it is clear that fans will continue to sue the entertainment company for better service.

With SHINee's popularity and the passion of their fans cannot be underestimated, the Shawols thought it was important for SM Entertainment to listen to their input and ensure this fan meeting was a positive experience for everyone involved. Will SM Entertainment hear the protests and complaints of SHINee fans and provide better facilities?
