2NE1 is still a K-Pop group that is close to fans' hearts throughout their career until they finally disbanded. Each member of 2NE1 is now pursuing a solo career in music including (finally) Sandara Park! The woman who is familiarly called Dara will release her first digital album as a solo singer.
This album is planned to be released on July 12, 2023 at 16.00WIB. The release of Sandara Park's digital album certainly adds to the excitement of the K-Pop star's comeback this summer. Sandara Park's digital album will be in the form of an EP (mini album).
Via her personal Twitter, Dara uploaded a teaser trailer for her digital album. Having a festival feel like the entrance to an amusement park, this teaser features a ticket booth and a large pink-purple curtain. There were four large candies standing on each side of the entrance.
At the top it says 'Grand Open' followed by a release date of July 12, 2023. "Welcome to Sandara Park (Sandara Park)!" Dara wrote in her tweet. Dara's digital album will be titled SANDARA PARK which suggests the artist's name can also mean 'Sandara Park' according to the theme park concept shown in the teaser trailer.
This album will be Dara's first release after leaving YG Entertainment in 2021. Now Sandara Park is under the management of Abyss Company and previously announced that the former 2NE1 member would be releasing a solo album.
