SEVENTEEN's Vernon has been chosen as Kenzo's first global ambassador. The French fashion house announced it officially on Thursday June 22, 2023. "KENZO is proud to announce #VERNON as its first global ambassador," wrote the Twitter account @kenzo, uploading a photo of SEVENTEEN's Vernon.

In the photo, SEVENTEEN's Vernon is seen with Nigo, the founder of the Japanese streetwear fashion house A Bathing Ape who is Kenzo's artistic director. Vernon also wore a collection of denim jackets he designed. The news of SEVENTEEN's Vernon and Kenzo's partnership was greeted enthusiastically by fans. 

The CARAT's called out the hashtags #VernonforKENZO and #KENZONIGO on Twitter. Like fans, artistic director Kenzo is delighted to have SEVENTEEN's Vernon as a model for his design collection. "I am delighted and grateful to welcome Vernon to the Kenzo family."

The SEVENTEEN rapper also felt honored to be chosen as Kenzo's first global ambassador. "I am honored and lucky to be Kenzo's global ambassador. I am excited to explore the synergies born from this partnership and look forward to showing a new side of me to fans around the world," said SEVENTEEN's Vernon as quoted by Soompi.

SEVENTEEN's Vernon will be making his debut as Kenzo's global ambassador at Paris Fashion Week 2023. He will be attending the fashion show showcasing Kenzo's Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection later today. Yesterday SEVENTEEN's Vernon was seen at Incheon International Airport before flying to Paris. 

His appearance was dominated by Kenzo's clothing collection, starting from white shirts, denim jeans, and brown sneakers. The Korean-French crossbreed idol also holds a gray jacket collection 'KENZO Target' zipped sweatshirt for HK$ 3,490 or around Rp. 6.6 million. In the future, SEVENTEEN's Vernon will appear in a number of advertising campaigns for Kenzo's clothes and shoes.
