King the Land is a Korean drama rom-com that tells the story of an heir and an employee who work in one of the hotels owned by his family. Directed by Im Hyun-wook, this drama stars Lee Junho, Lim Yoona (Yoona), Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha, and Kim Jae-won, among other cast members. 

This drama tells the story of heir Goo Won who has been thrown into an inheritance war, and the happy Cheon Sa-rang, whose smile moves him like no other. As the two begin to spend more time together, a beautiful love begins to bloom in their story. 

Lee Jun-ho was last seen in The Red Sleeve as Yi San / King Jeongjo, while Yoona played crowd favorite Go Mi-ho in 2022's wildly popular Big Mouth. King the Land takes over the Saturday-Sunday 22:00 time slot: 30 KST jTBC previously occupied by Doctor Cha.

The Netflix show synopsis reads: "In the midst of a tense inheritance battle, a charming heir clashes with his hard-working employee known for his irrepressible smile – one he can't hold back." Directed by Im Hyun-wook, this drama stars Lee Jun-ho, Im Yoon-ah, Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha, and Kim Jae-won, among other cast members. 

Gu Won and Sa-rang soon clear up their misunderstandings, however, Sa-rang soon understands the need to have power in her hands while at the King Hotel. With the Arab Prince as his goal to increase his power, he turns to Sa-rang and reveals his sincerity.

The series is set to have a runtime of 16 episodes and will release two episodes every week (Saturday-Sunday). The series will be available to watch on jTBC. The series will air from June 17, 2023 to August 6, 2023. Episode 7 of the series will air on July 8, 2023 at 10:30 PM KST.
