BOYNEXTDOOR's Myung Jaehyun recently responded to online speculation regarding his pre-debut part-time jobs. The allegations arose after criticism that he may have worked illegally as a teenager.

Before starting his career with BOYNEXTDOOR, Jaehyun reportedly took various part-time jobs to earn money for musical equipment. In his explanation, he mentioned working at various places, including construction sites, parking lots, wedding halls, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, and more.

In an interview, Jaehyun explained, “When I was 20, I worked part-time at a pub near Haehwa Station. It was in an old alley and it's closed now, but I used to work there. You know, there was a big television in that pub…”

This explanation came after several netizens expressed concerns about the legality of his work while underage. However, Jaehyun attempted to clear the air by sharing his diverse work experience and how it helped him achieve his music dreams.

In recent years, BOYNEXTDOOR has gained widespread attention among K-Pop fans, thanks to the group's talented and visually appealing members. Jaehyun, known as the group's maknae, has a large fan base who admires his dedication to music and hard work.

This issue also highlights the challenges faced by many K-Pop idols, especially early in their careers. Many have to work multiple jobs to fund their dreams before finally securing a place in this highly competitive industry.

With Jaehyun's clarification, it is hoped that fans and the public can better understand the journey idols go through before achieving success. Jaehyun and BOYNEXTDOOR are now gearing up for their upcoming music projects, and fans are looking forward to seeing more from the group in the future.
