The latest SBS drama, "Nightmare," has released a special teaser featuring Kim Nam Gil as detective Kim Tae Yi. The drama tells the story of a group of vigilantes who punish criminals who cannot be punished by law, not in prison, but through their nightmares.

Set against the backdrop of a city lit by nightlights, the teaser provides a glimpse into a series of crimes and accidents that occur throughout the city. In the teaser released on June 17, 2026, Kim Nam Gil displays a frightening charisma as Kim Tae Yi.

The teaser highlights crimes ranging from violent acts to industrial accidents that claim innocent lives, while the perpetrators often escape punishment due to legal loopholes and diminished claims of responsibility.

As Kim Tae Yi examines the scene of a gruesome crime, her expression displays a mix of anger and frustration. Her narration, "After destroying someone's everyday life, you might as well sleep soundly tonight," reflects her anger at the criminals who have managed to evade justice.

She then delivers a chilling warning: "That's why we'll come for you tonight—in your dreams." This statement adds to the suspense and curiosity about Kim Tae Yi's unconventional methods of punishing lawbreakers. 'Nightmare' is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2027.
