The film 'Gone Girl' is back at Trans TV Cinemas. The drama-mystery genre film airs on, Thursday July 13, 2023, at 23.00 WIB to be precise. Released in 2014, 'Gone Girl' is a film directed by David Fincher. Some of his previous works include 'Seven' (1994), 'Zodiac' (2007), and 'The Social Network' (2010).
The story of 'Gone Girl' itself was adapted from the novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn. The novelist also wrote the screenplay for this 149-minute film. A number of well-known actresses and actors became the main stars. There's Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry. The film also marks model Emily Ratajkowski's acting debut.
Rosamund Pike's acting also resulted in a nomination for best lead actress at the 2015 Academy Awards. 'Gone Girl' tells the story of a man who is suspected of being a figure related to the disappearance of his wife. On their fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) reports his wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), missing.
The news was widely highlighted by the media, because Amy was the inspiration of her parents in creating a popular children's book titled Amazing Amy. Suspicion mounts on Nick after Detective Rhonda Boney (Kim Dickens) finds evidence badly hidden in the house.

They moved from New York to Missouri, Nick's hometown, to care for his dying mother. Nick, who became lazy and increasingly distant, then had an affair with Andie, one of his students. Meanwhile, Amy becomes increasingly annoyed with Nick because of their move to Missouri.
These things along with the findings of the forensic analysis team strengthen the police's suspicion that Nick had killed Amy.
