EXO's Chen will be holding his wedding ceremony after three years of marriage. According to Korean media coverage on August 16, 2023 (KST), the Love Shot singer will also hold a ceremony with his non-celebrity wife in October. After news reports of his marriage were released, SM Entertainment confirmed that he was indeed preparing for this year's ceremony.
On August 16, 2023, it was reported that the Monster singer is preparing for a wedding ceremony with his wife this year in October. Later, other media outlets also confirmed that he would be hosting the event. According to SM Entertainment, "Chen will be holding a wedding ceremony, which was not possible beforehand considering the circumstances".
The EXO member announced his marriage to a non-celebrity girlfriend as well as his pregnancy in 2020. Later in April of that year the couple had their first baby girl. He enlisted in the military to complete his national duty in October 2020 and started his service as an active duty soldier.
Chen's wife welcomed another baby girl in January 2022 while the Cream Soda singer was still serving in the military. In April 2022, he was later discharged from his military service. After three years of marriage with two baby girls, the singer is ready to celebrate his time as a husband with his wife and family.
The singer debuted in 2012 under the SM ENTERTAINMENT boy group, EXO. The group is known worldwide for their popular songs Growl, Monster, Lotto, Love Shot and many more. They recently released their 7th album titled EXIST. Chen is an active member of the group since then and he has released several Korean drama OST's as he is known for his amazing vocals.
He is also a part of the popular subunit group CBX which includes Baekhyun, Xiumin, and himself. One of the most famous songs he has released for K-dramas is Everytime from the popular show, Descendants of the Sun. He released his solo mini albums April and a Flower and Dear My Dear in 2019. He also released his 3rd EP Last Scene in 2022.
