Gong Hyo Jin Admits She Was Born into a Rich Family

Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho were guest stars on the YouTube program "Zzanbro" hosted by Shin Dong Yup on January 6, 2025. On that occasion, Hyo Jin admitted that she was born into a wealthy family. 

The video shows Hyo Jin admitting that she was initially hesitant to guest on "Zzanbro". "I wasn't sure if I could appear on the show because I can't drink, but Lee Min Ho said that he would act as a 'knight in shining armor' while managing himself," said the beautiful actress. 

Hyo Jin revealed that her alcohol tolerance is quite low. The actress then expressed her concerns about not knowing her limits. However, Min Ho immediately replied, "Just drink," which caused a roar of laughter. 

Hyo Jin finally felt a little drunk and said, "Is my face red? My ears feel hot. If it gets worse, please switch to black and white." However, the actress still teased Min Ho by saying, "Did you drink like this? You handle a lot of things." 

Min Ho smiled and replied, “I feel good, I’m happy.” After that, they started discussing each other’s acting careers. Dong Yup shared a surprising anecdote, “I know Lee Min H wasn’t an overnight star.” Min Ho confirmed this by saying, "I played a lot of small roles. 

I often played an unnamed servant or a friend. For five years, I took on roles without any credit." Hearing that, Dong Yup joked, “Even with the same face, you really look like you’ve had a hard life.” 

In contrast to Min Ho’s image of naturally exuding wealth, Hyo Jin is often associated with the image of a struggling breadwinner. However, the reality is the opposite. Hyo Jin revealed, "I studied abroad in Australia. My father drove a Grandeur at the time. 

I was rich when I was young." Dong Yup immediately confirmed by saying, "At that time, the Grandeur was equivalent to a foreign luxury car now." On the other hand, Hyo Jin and Min Ho are currently starring in a drama titled "When the Stars Gossip". 

This drama tells the unexpected love story between commander Eve Kim (Hyo Jin), who works on a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Min Ho), a tourist on the space station who comes with a secret mission. 

Meanwhile, "When the Stars Gossip" has aired 2 episodes. However, this drama has not yet attracted much attention from local audiences because its rating is only around 3 percent.
