According to an exclusive media outlet report by SPOTV News on Wednesday August 16, 2023 local time, EXO's Chen will hold a wedding ceremony with his wife in October. Reporting from Allkpop, Chen announced his marriage to his non-celebrity wife in January 2020, as well as breaking news of his wife's pregnancy.
In April of the same year, Chen and his wife welcomed their first daughter. In October 2020, Chen started his mandatory military service as an active duty soldier. While in the military, Chen's wife gave birth to their second daughter in January 2022. The singer then completed his mandatory military service in April 2022.
Chen has registered his marriage and is legally married to his wife, but they have yet to hold a wedding ceremony, even after having two daughters three years after marriage.
