NCT's Jaehyun has just held a debut album signing event (fansign) in Jakarta on Saturday May 28, 2022. After the event was held, NCT's Jaehyun had occupied the Indonesian Twitter trending charts. This was due to the circulation of a video of him being called "Jamal" by one of the fans and the NCT personnel responded.

Jaehyun was born with the name Jung Jae Hyun, but when he was in high school, Jaehyun's grandmother advised him to change that name. Jaehyun's grandmother suggested this because in Korean, there is no Hanja character to refer to "Hyun". Little Jaehyun lived in Connecticut, United States at the age of 5 to 10 years, his English name is Jay.
He adopted this name when he was still studying in America, because his teacher could not say Jaehyun's real name, so the teachers at his school called him Jay. This man with the zodiac sign Aquarius started his career in the entertainment world in 2013.
