Ahead of his solo concert, BTS' Suga made headlines with his big idea when he rented an additional room out of consideration for the convenience of fans and staff. Reporting from KBIZoom on Thursday, Augut 3, 2023, Suga will hold the concert "Agust D TOUR 'D-DAY' THE FINAL" at KSPO DOME, Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul from August 4 to August 6.

Currently, heat wave warnings have been issued across the country, and the maximum temperature continues to rise to around 35 degrees Celsius. According to the Korea Meteorological Agency, from August 4 to August 6, when Suga's concert is being held, daytime temperatures are expected to be between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius.

As this is Suga's solo concert, many fans are expected to wait in front of the concert hall despite the hot weather. Also, in the case of popular idols, sales of “premium tickets” for extra cash are also rampant. Ticket holders are allowed to enter after going through a process of checking whether they really have purchased the premium ticket.

In particular, for concerts involving BTS, it is expected that fans' waiting time will be longer as fans will have to go through a more thorough identity check process due to BTS' popularity outside of Korea. Usually, when fan meetings or concerts are held, a tent is set up in an extra space such as an empty lot outside the room, and a simple booth is set up for identity verification.

During extreme heat like now, fans and staff are going to have a hard time. Not infrequently there are cases where fans faint while waiting for a concert under the hot sun. Therefore, Suga's side decided to rent the SK Olympic Handball Stadium, which is located right next to the KSPO DOME, for fans and staff to use as a place for identity verification.

This was done so that fans and staff would not feel too hot due to the heat wave. Netizens also praised Suga's initiative to think about the comfort and safety of fans and concert staff. “ This is really a great idea, ” wrote one netizen. " I'm worried about how to stand in hot weather. What a relief, " said another netizen. “ This is a way to save not only fans but also staff, ” another netizen chimed in.
