Netflix broadcast eight episodes of the Korean drama A Time Called You. However, fans did not expect to see SF9’s Rowoon and Ahn Hyo Seop acting as men who like the same sex. Rowoon and Ahn Hyo Seop are known to be close friends.

This year, Rowoon made a special appearance as a cameo in the Korean drama A Time Called You, starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Bin. Synopsis of the Korean drama A Time Called You follows the story of a woman named Han Joon Hee (played by Jeon Yeo Bin) who lost her boyfriend Koo Yeon Jun (played by Ahn Hyo Seop) in an accident.

One day, Han Joon Hee travels back in time to 1998. He possesses the body of a high school student and is shocked to see a student who looks like his girlfriend. Episode eight of the Korean drama A Time Called You opens with a scene of Koo Yeon Jun (playing Ahn Hyo Seop) preparing a bench for Tae Ha (playing Rowoon).

When Rowoon's character falls asleep in class, Ahn Hyo Seop looks at his best friend shyly. Koo Yeon Jun decided to confess his feelings to Tae Ha, after class finished on the campus rooftop. It turns out that Tae Ha also has feelings for Koo Yeon Jun.

He revealed why he was willing to travel long distances to campus, just to study with Koo Yeon Jun. The scene between Rowoon and Ahn Hyo Seop became more intense when the two of them accidentally touched in the car. Koo Yeon Jun, who was initially shy, finally grabbed Tae Ha's hand and held it.

Not long after that, Koo Yeon Jun and Tae Ha were shown involved in a car accident. A number of fans are now busy talking about Rowoon and Ahn Hyo Seop's scenes on social media. Not a few people feel uncomfortable because they think that the Korean drama A Time Called You only shows the chemistry of Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Bin.

"I'm really annoyed that Korean dramas now always have LGBT characters... if you want to make a drama that has scenes like this, it's better to just make a drama that's specifically for black..." commented a netizen on Twitter.

"Why are so many Korean dramas like this? It's not that I don't like them, but their identity has shifted like that," said another fan. Meanwhile, other fans reminded that the storyline was adapted from the Taiwanese drama Someday or One Day.

Rowoon and Ahn Hyo Seop's scenes are also considered important because they determine the entire story. "Those who say the drama is polluted don't want to watch anything, why is it......" wrote a fan. "I've never seen a guy just hold your hand," said a fan talking about the scene between Rowoon and Ahn Hyo Seop.
