The film 'Lion' will be a special presentation at the Trans TV Cinema on, Saturday November 18, 2023. For the first time, this film starring Nicole Kidman was shown on Indonesian screens. Released in 2016, 'Lion' is a film directed by Garth Davis.
This film is the Australian director's first work after previously directing many series. Apart from Nicole Kidman, actor Dev Patel also appears as the main star. Several other stars also took part, such as Rooney Mara, Priyanka Bose, and Indian child actor Sunny Pawar.
With a budget of US$ 12 million, this film managed to make a profit of up to US$ 140 million. Based on true events, this film focuses on the story of Saroo Brierley finding his biological parents.
