It has been confirmed that the film The Batman Part II will postpone its screening until 2026. The film, which was initially ready to be screened on October 3, 2025, had to be postponed until it received a new release schedule on October 2, 2026.

This news was conveyed directly by Warner Bros. at the same time as changes to other film schedules, such as Alto Knights and The Bride. Reporting from Variety on Wednesday March 13, 2024, the film Alto Knights, which was originally broadcast on November 15, 2024, has been moved to March 21, 2025.

Then, the film The Bride, starring Christian Bale, will fill the broadcast schedule for The Batman, namely October 3, 2025. Meanwhile, the latest film from Paul Thomas Anderson is also allegedly scheduled to be screened on August 8, 2025.

Still called An Untitled Paul Thomas Anderson Event Film, the project will be released in IMAX and stars a number of famous actors, starting from Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Alana Haim, Regina Hall, and Sean Penn.

On the other hand, the film The Batman Part II is ready to feature Robert Pattinson again as the main character. This sequel film will also be directed again by Matt Reeves. However, until now there is still no further information regarding the other actors who will star in the latest Batman film.

Previously, the film The Batman, which will be released in 2022, skyrocketed with a box office achievement of US$772 million globally. The Batman presents the initial moments of Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) who works as the world's greatest detective and is in his second year as The Dark Knight.

Wayne attempts to uncover massive corruption in Gotham City while pursuing the Riddler (Paul Dano), a notorious serial killer. The Batman film also stars Andy Serkis, Zoë Kravitz, and Jeffrey Wright. In March 2022, Warner Bros. uploaded deleted scenes from the film The Batman.

Lasting five minutes, this scene features the Joker, played by Barry Keoghan. The Joker's appearance in this scene seems to confirm his role in Robert Pattinson's Batman universe. Joker will appear as an evil figure, like Riddler and Penguin.
