International singer Billie Eilish won another Oscar thanks to the song "What Was I Made For?" as the Barbie film soundtrack for the Best Original Song category. This victory is the second time for Billie and Finneas O'Connor. 

Previously, both of them had won their first Oscar in the same category thanks to the song "No Time to Die" which was the soundtrack for the James Bond film in 2020. Singer Ariana Grande was named to announce the winner in this category. 

Through a video circulating on social media, when Billie Eilish's name was called by Ariana Grande as the winner, she looked shocked and jumped out of her chair. On the other hand, director Greta Gerwig and actress Margot Robbie, who were sitting near Billie Eilish, looked excited and happy.

"I had a nightmare about this last night," said Billie Eilish as soon as she arrived on stage after receiving her 2024 Oscar , quoted on Monday March 11, 2024. "I really didn't expect it, I feel very lucky and honored. Greta, thank you very much for the opportunity given to this song, and for this film," continued Billie Eilish.

In her victory speech, Billie Eilish did not forget to mention that the trophy she won was also a trophy for anyone who felt affected by the Barbie song and film. Meanwhile, Finneas, as his older brother and producer of Billie Eilish's songs, also expressed his gratitude to many people, including their parents and those involved in their musical careers. 

Billie Eilish's win is the first trophy for a Barbie film, just like at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards when the film Barbie won the trophy thanks to that song. The song "What Was I Made For?" became an iconic soundtrack during the screening of the Barbie film in 2023.
