Actor Byeon Woo Seok, who recently made his name increasingly famous through his role in the Korean drama ' Lovely Runner ', is scheduled to hold a fan meeting on July 6-7, 2024 in Seoul. Quoting from Naver on Tuesday May 28, 2024, the fan meeting entitled '2024 Byeon Woo Seok Asia Fanmeeting' will be held at Jangchung Gymnasium, Seoul with an audience capacity of around 4,507 plus 1,324 flexible seats.
Due to the actor's increasing popularity recently, ticket sales for the fan meeting which opened on May 27 2024 saw a queue of buyers of up to 700,000 people. Due to the large number of people accessing Byeon Woo Seok's fanmeeting ticket sales, the ticket sales website experienced errors several times.
With a record of up to 700,000 people queuing to buy tickets, it shows an explosion of popularity that cannot be accommodated with just 2 days of performances that only attract around 11,000 fans. A number of fans were also willing to queue and wait all day in the hope that some people would cancel their ticket purchases.
Some fans who didn't manage to get in to buy tickets even cried because the number of people interested and the queues were too high. Not only fans felt frustrated because they failed to get tickets to Byun Woo Seok's fan meeting, comedian Jung Kyung Mi also uploaded her efforts to buy tickets on social media.
He looked desperate after being in queue number 500,000, while only a few tickets were sold. "Madam, what are you saying? We started queuing at number 500,000, but Kim Kyung Ah asked us to wait patiently, who knows, we might be lucky. I was in front of the computer for an hour," said Jung Kyung Mi.
The comedian also shared a video of his ticket purchase number queue on the Interpark website and said that he could not meet Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok's character in the drama 'Lovely Runner'. However, he congratulated the fans who managed to get tickets and would meet with Byeon Woo Seok later. On the other hand, the Korean drama 'Lovely Runner', starring Byeon Woo Seok, will air its final episode today, May 28, 2024.
