SEVENTEEN's Jun Shows Off Selfie with Rihanna, Fans: When is the Collab?

SEVENTEEN's Jun recently made fans excited because of his interaction with international superstar, Rihanna. Jun attended the pop-up event for FENTY Beauty, Rihanna's cosmetics brand, which was held in Shanghai, China on May 20, 2024. Although the event was private, those in attendance shared some videos of the event online. 

Jun was no exception, who also uploaded several posts on his Instagram because he was one of the many celebrities who attended the event. Other notable guests include former missA member Fei, influencer Marcelo Wang, and many more. 

When the show started, there was some footage of Rihanna and Jun filming, but they weren't seen talking to each other at the time. However, in a clip taken that night, Jun is seen sitting at a table with other celebrities, including Rihanna. 

The singer of the song 'Unfaithful' was seen giving a thumbs up, to which Jun responded with a smile. The day after the event, Jun shared several photos on his Instagram, one of which was a selfie with Rihanna which was uploaded on the last slide. In the photo, the female singer is seen holding SEVENTEEN's new album.

CARAT (SEVENTEEN fans) couldn't hide their excitement at seeing their idol interact so closely with Rihanna. Jun's Instagram post was flooded with various comments. In fact, many joked that they were ready to see SEVENTEEN and Rihanna collaborate. " Rihanna, what are you doing here? " wrote the account @svt****. 

" I'm confused about wanting to be Jun or Rihanna, " wrote the account @len*****. " Rihanna must be on SEVENTEEN's next album, take my word for it, " wrote the account @its*****. Meanwhile, Wen Junhui or Jun is an idol from China who debuted as a member of SEVENTEEN in 2015 under the auspices of Pledis Entertainment.

Recently, SEVENTEEN released their compilation album, '17 IS RIGHT HERE' on April 29. The album contains all of SEVENTEEN's Korean singles, as well as Korean versions of their Japanese releases. The album also contains four unreleased songs, including the lead single 'MAESTRO' and the instrumental 'Adore U'.
