RIIZE again won the weekly music trophy with their latest comeback song ' Boom Boom Bass ' on the Mnet program 'M Countdown'. On Thursday June 27, 2024, Mnet's weekly music program 'M Countdown' aired their latest episode. On that occasion, 2 songs were nominated to compete for the top position this week.
Among them is the song 'Boom Boom Bass' by boy group RIIZE, against the song "Never Let Go" by BTS' Jungkook. Quoting from the X KPOP Music Show Analysis social media account , RIIZE managed to take home the trophy at Mnet's 'M Countdown' this week by winning first place with the song 'Boom Boom Bass'.
The song 'Boom Boom Bass' managed to collect a total score of 8,839 points. Meanwhile, in second place is BTS' Jungkook with his latest solo song entitled 'Never Let Go' which managed to achieve a score of 7,173 points.
This is the third win for the song 'Boom Boom Bass' in 3 consecutive days this week. After previously the song managed to record 2 other wins on the music programs 'The Show' and 'Show Champion'. This also marks RIIZE's fifth win in the weekly music event overall.
With this record, the song 'Boom Boom Bass' has succeeded in breaking the record for the song 'Love 119' which won a total of 2 winning trophies. The victory at the Mnet 'M Countdown' event this week felt even more special because member Sohee handed over their winning trophy directly to the members, as the MC of the program.
