SEVENTEEN's Hoshi once again shows his charm as the man every woman dreams of. In order to make his fans not worry, Hoshi firmly provided information about when he would leave for military service. As many people know, all male South Korean nationals must register in the military.

When they go is often determined by their age. They can register for military service from the age of 18 onwards, and can postpone it until they are 28 years old. In SEVENTEEN's case, Korea's oldest members S.COUPS and Jeonghan will have to enlist in the military in 2024.

They were both born in 1995, which means they will be 29 years old in 2024, making this year their last year of deferment. S.COUPS was exempt from service due to a torn ligament injury. On the other hand, Jeonghan has made a precautionary statement about his military service, which has made fans panic.

Launching  Koreaboo on Monday June 17, 2024, the next in line for military service is the 96 Korean born members in the group. They consist of Hoshi, Wonwoo, and Woozi. When they turned 28 years old in 2024, fans started to panic about their military service.

One of the fans made a fansign video call to ask Hoshi about it personally. According to them, they decided to ask him directly because the members had recently been talking about the military. "I won't go this year, not this year. I will go next year. Next year,"  said Hoshi with affirmation in every sentence.

Carat (as SEVENTEEN fans are known) can now breathe a sigh of relief hearing this direct confirmation from Hoshi. Line 96 will certainly not go on hiatus due to military service in 2024, but next year. One year should be enough time for Carat to prepare himself to be left for military service by the SEVENTEEN members.

The group led by S. Coups is also very active this year providing content for their beloved fans. Speaking of Hoshi, the man with the melodious voice celebrated his 28th birthday on June 15, 2024. Congratulations on getting older SEVENTEEN's Hoshi!
