The animated film The Garfield Movie produced by Columbia Pictures and Alcon Entertainment showed its dominance throughout the world by topping the global box office charts. Adapted from the Collider page on Monday June 3, 2024, the second weekend revenue of The Garfield Movie reached $27 million from the international market and $14 million from the domestic market.
The total income since it was first released has now reached $152 million. This animated film was a global success. In China, for example, in the first two days of its broadcast, this film managed to earn $8.2 million. This amount is said to be greater than the income from the films Puss In Boots: The Last Wish and Migration .
In Germany, the film was the number one film in its fourth weekend, with a total of $7.6 million. Meanwhile in the UK, this film still grossed $1.8 million in its second week of broadcast, only down 5% from the previous week. Other countries such as Malaysia, Poland and Australia also contributed greatly to the success of The Garfield Movie in the international market.
