Actress Jung In Sun has revealed how she prepared to play her character in the new Korean drama ' DNA Lover '. Carrying the romantic comedy genre, 'DNA Lover' tells the story of a genetic researcher who is obsessed with finding his partner through gene compatibility.

In this drama, Jung In Sun plays Han So Jin, an eccentric genetic researcher who has experienced many failures in love as she tries to find her destined partner through genes. Han So Jin is depicted with a bob haircut and a striking appearance. 

Jung In Sun once revealed that she deliberately cut her hair and made it curly, and chose different makeup colors for the role of Han So Jin. “After creating her look, I gained more courage to portray Han So Jin’s bold actions and her passion in finding love,” said Jung In Sun as quoted by Soompi.

In addition, Jung In Sun found the topic of genes and DNA very interesting so she was moved to join the drama. She even visited a real genetic center before filming to gain insight into her character. "Before filming, I had the opportunity to visit a real genetics center. 

By seeing the lab and talking to the researchers, I was able to gradually put everything together," said Jung In Sun. The actress added, “After the visit, I ate with the researchers, learning not only about DNA but also about their daily lives and hobbies. This helped me get closer to So Jin and focus on playing a researcher.”

Jung In Sun's totality in playing her character often gets praise from the production team. Her passionate acting will increase the charm of this drama. In addition, the role of a genetic researcher is very unique and rarely found in Korean dramas .

Jung In Sun will be acting alongside Choi Siwon, who plays obstetrician Shim Yeon Woo.
