ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has been sued again for alleged harassment and defamation by her former employee. South Korean media outlet Star News reported on Thursday August 15, 2024, that B, a former ADOR employee who resigned after reporting the sexual harassment case, stated that she plans to take legal action against Min Hee Jin.
Through his social media, B expressed his anger towards Min Hee Jin's false claims. He also said that Min Hee Jin had defamed him, damaged his reputation, and obscured the facts.
"I am extremely angry at Min Hee Jin's actions of continuously making false claims and causing repeated attacks through new statements full of defamation," B wrote on Instagram on August 15, 2024.
B conveyed 3 points committed by Min Hee Jin, namely hiding the case of workplace harassment, committing public fraud through lies and forgery, and defamation by revealing KakaoTalk chats without permission and editing.
Min Hee Jin was considered not to be neutral. Instead of handling B's complaint, Min Hee Jin as a leader ignored the core of the reported problem and focused more on B's salary cuts and poor performance.
B revealed that the company had arbitrarily cut the employee's annual salary by 40% without his consent, which could be an illegal act. Furthermore, B also highlighted Min Hee Jin's actions in participating in the trial evaluation, however, on the one hand, Min Hee Jin rarely worked from the office.
He said, “How can a leader who is not present in the office assess the work capabilities of each employee fairly and comprehensively?” He also added, “You describe me as a project leader, but when was I ever given the authority to be a leader?
I am just an ordinary staff without a single team member under me.” In addition, B stated that he is ready to face Min Hee Jin in front of the labor authority and in court. He also challenged Min Hee Jin to continue the legal case regarding the false accusations.
