Yoo Teo's acting career is increasingly shining and becoming world-famous. The South Korean actor has been confirmed as the main actor in a Hollywood action film titled Karoshi.
Karoshi is an action thriller film that marks a collaboration between renowned American studio Lionsgate and 87Eleven Entertainment, the production company behind the American noir action film series John Wick. While little has been revealed about the film's plot, it is described as a "corporate thriller with a samurai twist."
This marks Yoo Teo's second Hollywood big screen project as a leading actor after Past Lives, which earned him a Best Actor nomination at the 77th British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) EE Film Awards.
Yoo Teo was also named one of the A100 (Asia's 100 most influential leaders of the year) by Gold House, and he was recently invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). Additionally, the German-born actor has been confirmed to star in the second season of the American Netflix series The Recruit as a lead.
