Korean media Job Post said the novel has a deep meaning because it was written by BLACKPINK Jennie's biological father. It was also explained that Kim Hyung Jin is Jennie's biological father. Furthermore, Korean media Job Post mentioned that the novel was written by Kim Hyung Jin based on the true story of BLACKPINK's Jennie. By telling the story of Jennie when she was a trainee in her teens until she became famous worldwide as she is now.
