BTS's Jungkook made new history by achieving 2 songs that reached 1 billion streams on Spotify. His collaboration with American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth 'Left and Right' recently surpassed 1 billion streams on the biggest music platform.
Jungkook thus became the first K-pop solo artist in Spotify history to surpass 1 billion streams with multiple songs ('Seven' and 'Left And Right'). Jungkook's first 1 billion record with 'Seven' was achieved in 108 days, the fastest period in Spotify history. Among all K-Pop artists, Jungkook is the second to achieve this milestone, after his group BTS.
Jungkook becomes the first artist to have two songs included in the 'Billions Club', a playlist that collects songs that have surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, and has two special plaques in the form of large plates. With all the song credits, Jungkook's Spotify account reached 7 billion cumulative streams, making him the first K-pop singer and the first K-pop soloist to achieve it.
